While my Thanksgiving was 5 weeks ago, I thought I'd say what I am thankful for, since it seems to pop up a lot on twitter during the US Thanksgiving holiday.
1 I'm thankful for the encouragement, the help, and support that my parents have given me since as long as I can remember. I know they raised me to be the man I am, and I would not be where I am today without them.
2 I'm thankful for all the good friends I have in my life. I know I have learned something from everybody in my life, and have shared both good and bad times.
3 I'm thankful for a couple of my instructors in College. Scott tought me the importance of proper HTML and CSS. He also introduced me to Getting Real by 37 signals, and later watched a Rails screencast towards the end of class. I thank him greately for introducing me to such technologies.
Greg Rodrigo, the program coordinator taught me my second Java class. He made things really interesting, and helped me to understand the concepts. He always expressed interest, and would always be willing to put in extra time to help myself or others improve.
4 I'm thankful for the drive towards knowledge and mastery that I have. It has allowed me to work hard in school, gain the skills I that I have today, and to consistently improve and get better at what I do.
